Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler Recipe – Instructions

Old fashioned peach cobbler is the easiest thing to make. Extremely easy. Go ahead and allow friends and family to think you’ve slaved for hours in the kitchen creating this fabulous peach dessert. But in truth, you and I know it was extremely quick to throw together!

  1. On the blossom side of peach place an X.

  3. Peel skins and reserve.
  4. Slice peaches into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar and salt to mixing bowl, mixing all ingredients gently until the sugar and salt dissolve. Set aside.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  6. Slice butter, place evenly to the baking dish. Place pan into oven during the pre-heating period. Once the butter has melted remove from oven.
  7. In a mixing bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until all ingredients are combined.
  8. Pour the mixture over the melted butter and smooth to an even layer.
  9. Add peaches and its juice over the batter. Generously sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  10. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
