Your clumsiness is one of the many things that drew them to you. It's what really pulled them in. Always dropping and tripping on your own feet. You were so graceless, like a little kitten who doesn't know her way around things.
Seeing you like this was only amusing at first. When you started to get hurt, that's when they started getting worried. Your arms and knees were always littered in bruises. There were even a few scars that never healed. They couldn't help but worry if someday you'll get seriously injured.
They actually started losing sleep over you because they couldn't help but wonder if their little kitten was alright. So they took you in the middle of the night and brought you to your new home.
You were super scared of them at first, but eventually warmed up to them when they started taking care of you. They were so soft. Always so gentle with you. When you think you're going to slip and fall, Aizawa's scarf wraps around you and pulls you to his chest. Hizashi is always there to bandage your wounds and kiss your tears away. You had truly fallen for both of them.
You wanted to repay them in some way since they take such good care of you. You decided to make dinner for them, a nice date night at home. You had cooked up everything by the time they came home. You kissed their cheeks as you greeted them and once Aizawa was done checking you for new bruises, you told them to wash up and dinner will be served soon. As they went to their room to clean up, you started setting up dinner. Everything was going so well until you tripped and dropped the big bowl of soup. The heroes came rushing in and looked at the mess you had made. Hizashi and Aizawa started to clean up the mess quietly, but as you went to pick up the shards of the glass bowl, Aizawa suddenly pushed you back. "Stay back."he said. "Let me help you-"you said as you moved to pick the shards up again but Aizawa yelled again "STAY BACK! You're only going to cause more trouble." His voice coming out harsher than he intended it to be, causing you to flinch back. Your face flashed hurt but you just walked back to your room, holding back the tears until you layed down on your bed. Why was he so mad? Its not like I could help it. You thought to yourself as you started sniffling, your head pounding. You only wanted to do something nice for them but you had to ruin it.
While you were inside, wallowing in your sadness, Hizashi was out scolding Aizawa. "Why did you have to yell?" "I only told her to get away from the glass. She was going to hurt herself picking those up." Aizawa explained, not understanding why his partner was so mad at him. "Okay but WHY DID YOU HAVE TO YELL?! You could've just told her that you didn't want her to hurt herself!"Hizashi told him. "That's what I meant-"but Hizashi cuts him of, "but the way you said it felt like she did it on purpose. That she's a burden on us. When it was us who had brought her here. And now she's inside crying her little heart out, when she prpbably spent the whole day making us dinner!" Aizawa hadn't realised the impact his words had made on you until his husband said it. He quickly made his way towards the bedroom and just as he was about to open the door, he heard your muffled heartbreaking sobs.
Aizawa turned the knob and entered the room. Hearing him come in, you quickly wiped your tears away. Aizawa climbed onto the bed and peaked at your face. Your eyes were all red and puffy, your face flush and your lips wobbly. Your lashes were still heavy with tears and your nose red. If Aizawa wasn't feeling guilty before, he definitely was now. He isn't supposed to make you cry; he and Hizashi should be the reason for all your smiles.
Aizawa raised his hand and caressed your cheek. "Kitten... baby. I'm so sorry." You sniffled. He gently turned you towards him. Looking at Aizawa, your eyes started tearing up again. "I- I didn't mean for it to happen. I just wanted to-" you hiccuped, "just wanted to do something good for you guys." And with that, you started crying again. Aizawa felt like someone had pulled his heart out his chest and was crushed it. He quickly pulled you on his chest, pushing your head in to the crook of his neck as he started rubbing your back in a soothing manner. "Sshh kitten. Its not your fault. I'm sorry for yelling at you... I only wanted you to back away from the glass because I didn't want you to accidentally hurt yourself. I am so sorry." Aizawa said as he kissed the temple of your head. "Please forgive me, angel?" Your sobs had died down. You lifted your head from his neck and looked at him. Even after crying, you looked breathtaking. "Okay...but only if you stay at home tomorrow and cuddle me."you said softly. Aizawa smiled as he leaned to kiss your velvety lips. "Done, kitten"he whispered as he nuzzled his nose with yours, causing you to giggle.
"A cuddle party without me?!"Hizashi feigned hurt as he came in the room. "No no. You can join us-"but you were cut off by Hizashi jumping on the bed and cuddling your back. He started placing kisses all over your face causing you to laugh out.
Hizashi and Aizawa looked at you with such adoration.
You really are their entire world.
