General Questions
Dell Pay Credit is a revolving line of credit which allows you to pay for your purchase all at once or gives you the flexibility to make monthly payments. This account is offered by Comenity Capital Bank. With this account there is no prepayment penalty. You may also qualify for promotions and discounts on future purchases.
You can use your Dell Pay Credit to shop online at Dell.com and over the phone at 1-800-WWW-DELL.
Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance is not paid in full by the end of the promotional period. or if you make a late payment. Minimum monthly payments are required but may not pay your promotional balance by the end of the promotional period due to purchase amount, promotion length, additional purchases or allocation of payments in excess of the minimum payment (see minimum payment question for additional information). If not paid by the end of the promotional period, account balance and new purchases will be subject to your Standard APR rate, as found on your Dell Pay Credit Agreement. Offers subject to credit approval and may be changed without notice. Minimum purchase amount may be required.
No. We are unable to transfer balances to this account from other credit cards. The Dell Pay Credit is solely for purchases of products offered on Dell.com or other Dell participating retailers. No. When pre-qualifying for Dell Pay Credit, your credit report is requested from a credit reporting agency. This is a soft inquiry that won't impact your score. If you decide to open a Dell Pay account, you will need to submit a complete application. Your credit will be pulled at the time of submission. This is a hard inquiry which may have an impact on your score.
No. Unlike some other popular forms of payment, you don't need to re-apply every time you use your Dell Pay account. Dell Pay is a revolving line of credit, available for use as long as the account is open and in good standing.
Most customers receive a credit decision within seconds of submitting their Dell Pay Credit application.
Payments and Rates
No. Dell Pay does require minimum monthly payments, but customers can pay more than the minimum amount at any time to fit their situation. Interest will continue to accrue on any unpaid balance on the account.

On October 4, 2023, Dell Preferred Accounts have transitioned to the Dell Pay Credit program. If your account was active and in good standing, then your transition to Dell Pay is complete. To manage your account, pay your bill or check available credit, please register or login to the Dell Pay Account Center. If you have questions or are unable to access the Dell Pay Account Center, please call 1-866-395-9796.
Yes, you may log on to your account on comenity.net/dellpay to view your account balance, update personal information and even change your password.

A A soft inquiry is used to check your eligibility which will not affect your credit score.
B Deferred Interest, Payment Required plan: Interest will be charged to your Account from the purchase date if the promotional plan balance is not paid in full within the promotional period. Minimum payments are required for each Credit Plan. Minimum payments are NOT guaranteed to pay the promotional plan balance within the promotional period. You may have to pay more than the minimum payment to avoid accrued interest charges. Valid for single transaction only. If the single transaction has multiple shipments, each shipment may result in a separate Credit Plan, subject to a separate minimum purchase requirement. Taxes and shipping are not included in the promotional plan minimum spend threshold. Refurbished and/or used purchases do not qualify for promotions. Qualifying purchases will automatically be placed on a promotional plan. If purchase qualifies for more than one plan, it will be placed on the qualified plan with the longest promotional period. As of August 2024, terms for new Accounts: Purchase APR of 30.99%. Minimum interest charge is $2 in any billing period in which interest is due.
